Atmos Rx Vaporizer Review

The Atmos Rx was originally billed as the Atmos RAW, but the name was changed along the line for unknown reasons. This is an awesome vape pen. It is versatile and easy to use with its single-button design. It also has a stealth design. The Atmos Rx has been surrounded by controversy, but it continues to be one of the top-selling vape pens that you will find on the market. Let us take a closer look at this device and find out at what makes it special.

The Atmos Rx vaporizer has a very simple design. It is composed of four main parts; the battery, the ceramic heating chamber, the chamber connection, and the mouthpiece which comes with a ceramic filter. This device was designed to vape dry herb or wax, but you can also use it for vaporizing oils and e-juice. The design of this vaporizer makes it perfect for discreet vaping. It looks more like a pen than a vaping device. With that said, this device is not just about the aesthetics. It has a pancake-style coil with a preheating time of just five seconds. The temperature of the device can go as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the Atmos RAW was originally released, there were complaints that it was working as an electronic pipe by combusting herbs rather than vaporizing them. To solve the problem, Atmos developed a glass filter than you can place over the heating coil. The problem is that the glass filter is very small so you can easily misplace it. Also, some vapers have noted that the glass filter does not completely solve the issue. It must be noted that the issue with the Rx vaporizer combusting rather than vaporizing only happens when you are vaping dry herb. It works fine for wax and other materials whether you use the glass filter or not.

The Atmos Rx comes with a 650 mAh lithium-ion battery. The package includes an AC adapter and a USB charger for the battery. The battery life of this device is pretty good. It can last for a day or more depending on how frequently you are using the device. The charging time of this vaporizer is two hours. The USB charger has an LED light that shows red when the device is charging and green when the battery is full. This device does not support pass-through so you cannot vape while it is charging. Besides, to charge the Atmos Rx, you need to detach the battery.

The ceramic heating chamber of this device is not very large. You can only fit in a few pinches of dry herb into it at a time. It is important not to stuff the heating chamber with dry herb because it could affect the airflow of the device. One of the perks of using this vaporizer is that you can use the same heating chamber to vape either dry herb or wax. Once you have filled up the heating chamber of this vaporizer, you need to simply press the firing button for a few seconds to preheat it. This device is not draw-activated. The power button also serves as the firing button. You need to press this button each time you take a puff.

It is very easy to clean the Atmos Rx vaporizer. Atmos recommends using a cotton swab to clean the mouthpiece. You can use the brush and spoon that is included in the package to clean the ceramic heating chamber. Be careful when cleaning this chamber to avoid hitting the heating coil. If you are too rough when cleaning out the chamber with the spoon, you could damage the coil. The device will not heat up if the coil is not functioning properly.

This device is available in different attractive colors. You can get this Atmos vaporizer from virtually any top vape store. It is going for about $100 at most shops, but you can get a small discount on Ejuice Pack where it is priced at just $85.96.

Ejuice Pack is a one-stop shop to buy all your vaping supplies. This store has all types of vaporizers and e-liquids. Ejuice Pack even has an e-juice subscription service that you can sign up with to receive e-liquids monthly.
